Alien Robert
Illustrated Metaphysical Science Fiction and Fantasy Stories #3
A fun and friendly alien story for children of all ages
Excerpt from the digital version below
Alien Robert was, well of course he was, an alien. An alien robot to be precise.
Alien Robert lived on a very friendly world called Robotos. It was also known as the family planet, as aliens with children from all over the Large Magellanic Cloud Galaxy liked to live there.
Everyone on the planet loved children and Alien Robert felt so happy that his job was to take care of and play with children everyday.
Alien Robert cooked, cleaned, washed, played, drove and taught for children every day and night. He never got tired or upset and the children loved him.
In fact, Alien Robert took care of 847 children!
That may seem like a lot but it was easy for Alien Robert. You see, not only did Alien Robert have enough energy every day and night to cook, clean, wash, play, drive and teach, he also had something else that was special.
There wasn’t just one of him.
Oh, no!
There were hundreds!
That’s right! Alien Roberts were everywhere. Cooking, cleaning, washing, playing, driving, teaching and more, all over Robotos. Being a robot he could be anywhere, everywhere and know everything that all of him were doing at the same time.
And he loved it.
So, how did everyone know who was THEIR Alien Robert?
They didn’t need to. Alien Robert belonged to everyone! He knew every child’s name on Robotos and would help any child that needed help. The children loved that he was so all-knowing, and they could play ‘but, why?’ with him for hours!
Unfortunately, Alien Robert also knew something else and, as he was programmed to have emotions, it did make him feel down when he thought about it.
You see, the people who made Alien Robert wanted a robot that was soft and cuddly. They didn’t want a hard metal robot, they wanted a robot that children could hug.
Alien Robert was the softest robot in the entire galaxy. He didn’t have muscles or metal pipes, he had soft extendable plastic tubes in his arms. And his fur was softer than the softest fur ever. And when children hugged him they almost vanished, he was so soft.
